When not in the pool the grandkids had a nice size fenced in backyard to play in that was separated and gated from the pool area. The place was well taken care of and well maintained. We had a very short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was great for walks or runs without having to worry about the traffic. The grankids loved the Pirate Adventures, North Carolina Aquarium and the Lost Colony in Manteo. They are many great places to visit, things to do and places to eat at. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. My favorite place for lunch is the Country Deli a place for delicious over stuffed sandwiches and subs. My only problem is next year I need a smaller place for only six people and not ten. I want it as nice as the Mi Casa- Su Casa was. Great job Beach Realty. Thank you.

There are a few things that the owner needs to take care of. Boards missing from fence, wine cooler still does not work, decks need power washing really really badly. One gas burner not working on gas top in kitchen. Overall we had a great time and the house is very nice.

We always like this house of its style and location so close to the beach. Wished it had an elevator..haha. Shame the wine cooler still isn't working. Cleaning people really need to dust under the bed and dressers. Enough dust bunnies to make a Bunny!

Only wish it had an elevator since my husband and I are older. But great house overall. Loved that it had a bath with each bedroom. Loved the salt water pool. Great access to the beach and pier. Great restaurant (Lucky 12) nearby. Perfection! Would reccommend Miller's Seafood Restaurant. Thanks for the 2 free tickets to new waterpark. Grands loved it!

We were all together for the first time in 17 years for a vacation. We had the best time. The house was wonderful - lots of room. Some of the things need replaced - such as beach chairs and pool items. The child gate was broken, but we made it work and the property managment company replaced it quickly but the replacement needed to be installed - we did not have tools to do that. LOTS OF STEPS!!! LOL - but OBX homes are like that. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs - they enjoyed it too. We vaccumed every day to keep up with the dog hair. THANK YOU!

Our party of 8 stayed at the property for a week. Upon arrival, it was very clean & well appointed throughout. The check-in instructions were easy to follow & we encountered no issues. The house is beautiful…even better than pictures. The location is also fantastic…within easy walking distance to the beach, two parks/playgrounds, and multiple restaurants. We didn’t need to drive further than 10mins from the house throughout our stay. The backyard area is also beautiful…pool, hot tub & yard were used daily throughout our stay. The owner’s pool toys, beach cart, chairs & accessories were all in very good condition. Minor suggestions / issues: 1. The refrigerator water filter needs to be replaced. Water couldn’t be dispensed from the refrigerator during our visit. We bought bottles instead…Wasn’t a major problem. 2. The basement fire alarm batteries expired in the middle of the night, which set off the test alarm & woke up everyone in the house. Bad timing, but it happens. 3. The house is located near an outdoor wedding venue. On our first night (Saturday), there was an extremely noisy wedding that lasted until 11pm. Not something the owner can control, but beware if you’re traveling with young kids during wedding season. The property was very quiet during the remainder of the week. Overall, it was a great visit & definitely a place where we’d consider staying again in the future.

It is a wonderful house with an awesome yard (separated from the pool) which is great for not having to worry about your pup jumping in the pool every time they go out. The only note I would make is that the pet crates that are on site (which is an awesome amenity) are more like pet carriers, those boxed in ones you might use for transport to the vet. We ended up purchasing a crate at Petsmart for the week when we discovered the difference. You may want to bring your crate if you have a pup that would not be comfortable in a closed-in environment like a pet carrier. We are already booked to stay in this house again because we love it so much!

Mi Casa was a beautiful home very close to the beach 2 minute walk. Pool and Hot tub came in handy after the beach. Only real issue we had was the information we were sent about check in/wifi/check out procedures were different then what was in the house. We had to call for assistance on wifi. Sink in king bedroom on 2nd floor had a leak. Supposedly they called a plumber. Never came luckily my husband could fix. All in all a very nice vacation with family. Would definitely visit the outer banks again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This is a great place to stay on the Outer Banks. It is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. The house was clean and comfortable. The yard was fenced which made it nice since we were able to bring our dogs. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and very relaxing. The mater bedroom was relaxing and we slept great on the mattress. The kitchen was open and had plenty of storage and cookware. When we arrived the A/C wasn't working correctly. The management company had a window unit installed within an hour and an HVAC technician came first thing on Monday morning to fix the A/C. The property company followed up to make sure everything was working properly. The management company was so nice to work with- from booking, to using their app to check-out. We would definitely rent this home again. Thanks for a great experience.

Easy check-in place was clean, needed a last floor mop, A/C was cold, rooms were as described and the pool was a great option. Indoor on rainy afternoons was ok, lots of games and space for everyone. We couldn't cast to TV but, we did bring a connectable device but that was for only one room since we could not connect to services on TV's. probably a security thing? But overall we had a great time the place was a nice beach retreat vaction.

If you were on the upper level, the people on the lower levels could not hear footsteps, etc. Furnishings were great. Wonderfully appointed kitchens and bathrooms. Loved that each bedroom had its own bath so no one had to share. Place was peaceful. Location was fantastic. Swimming pool wasn't available, but it looked like it would be nice to take a dip in. Rooms were spacious. TVs and Internet worked great. The only problem we experienced was all the pet hairs. Wish the cleaning crew could do a better job of trying to get rid of these hairs. Anything dark colored we had was covered with these hairs and we had to use lint brushes to even be able to wear these clothes. Also, there was a pet odor when you were walking towards the middle level. Loved this place except for the pet hairs. Everything else was clean.

The cleaning staff arrived to begin cleaning at 4:30 and the house wasn’t ready until 6:45, which was something we had never experienced before in 30 years of renting beach houses. The house was acceptably clean, but not exceptionally so. These negatives were outweighed by the other aspects of the house , the pool and location. We plan to return and make plans to arrive late so we don’t have to wait for the house to be cleaned. Nags head is a great beach location. We enjoyed riding bikes to the Hatteras National Seashore along the road. We liked the fact that it’s a mix of quiet beach town and plenty to do, like laser tag, arcades, restaurants, historic sites.

The location was close enough to walk to the beach but did not have the view indicated. You could see a very small point of ocean from upper deck. We loved the pool and the fenced in back yard was fabulous for our two dogs! The bedrooms were all good sized with comfy beds. We really enjoyed watching our beloved Washington CPitals win the Stanley Cuo on the gigantic TV in main room. Suggestions are to really check up on your cleaning crew. The house was generally clean but certain things not done at all. Appliance exteriors not cleaned, shower doors not clean, there was a lot of dog hair and dust on the floors and furniture. Also some mild/mildew in showers which need updated. There were not many games as advertised and no beach cart or wagon either. A last suggestion would be to make at least one bathroom handicap accessible with a higher toilet and grab bars in shower. Overall a very positive stay and would consider this house again. We loved that it wasn't just a huge house, but rather the space was clearly designed purposely for people to enjoy comfortably being all together in the family room/kitchen/dining area or having some time to themselves in a number of more quiet areas. The wrap around deck with chairs and a view of the ocean--superb. Kitchen is fully equipped. Don't miss the volleyball net/pool floats in the closet. The pool table converts to ping pong-(though they do need new paddles). I can't say enough about the pool and huge fenced back yard. All six of my grown kids and my two grandbabies had a blast in that pool! I think I had the most fun of all! It's great that the house is dog friendly, but just know that may mean a lot dog hair from previous guests. Ours stayed in his crate on the ground floor when he wasn't outside. Also, the stairs are intense, but you get used to them! However, this wouldn't be a good fit for someone who isn't comfortable with a couple flights of steps. Beach access is super close. Dolphins will be there to greet you at sunrise every morning! Definitely see the amazing dunes at Jockey's Ridge. And do what ever you have to do to drive on the beach at Corolla to see the wild mustangs up close and personal! Four wheel drive required. Kill Devil Grill doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is the best ever. Drive the short distance to Duck, and walk the beautiful boardwalk starting at the park. We vacation A LOT! Have done so for thirty years! This week in OBX is at the top of our favorites list. Enjoying this house, which was perfect for our family, was a huge part of our overall incredible vacation!Hope you enjoy all of it as much as we did!!! We'll be back!

The grankids loved the Pirate Adventures, North Carolina Aquarium and the Lost Colony in Manteo. They are many great places to visit, things to do and places to eat at. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. My favorite place for lunch is the Country Deli a place for delicious over stuffed sandwiches and subs. My only problem is next year I need a smaller place for only six people and not ten. I want it as nice as the Mi Casa- Su Casa was. Great job Beach Realty. Thank you.

We always like this house of its style and location so close to the beach. Wished it had an elevator..haha. Shame the wine cooler still isn't working. Cleaning people really need to dust under the bed and dressers. Enough dust bunnies to make a Bunny!

There are a few things that the owner needs to take care of. Boards missing from fence, wine cooler still does not work, decks need power washing really really badly. One gas burner not working on gas top in kitchen. Overall we had a great time and the house is very nice.

We were all together for the first time in 17 years for a vacation. We had the best time. The house was wonderful - lots of room. Some of the things need replaced - such as beach chairs and pool items. The child gate was broken, but we made it work and the property managment company replaced it quickly but the replacement needed to be installed - we did not have tools to do that. LOTS OF STEPS!!! LOL - but OBX homes are like that. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs - they enjoyed it too. We vaccumed every day to keep up with the dog hair. THANK YOU!

We stayed at this rental from Sept 27th-Oct 4th. We had a total of 4 adults, two children (7 and 13) and two small dogs and had more than enough room! The house had true personality and plenty to keep you entertained or relaxed. In the evenings you can actually hear the waves, which is awesome. The house is only a short walk to the beach and close to enough activities to keep the kids busy. The kitchen was very well equipped, they even had a crock pot and decent knives. Brand new appliances. Towels and bed linens were included, we only had to bring beach towels and dish towels. They also had an outside storage room full of pool toys/floats, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, a few beach toys and 3 beach chairs (two were pretty small and pretty much on the ground, but worked fine for us), volleyball (the net was not set up so we didn't mess with it), basketball etc. Our dogs loved the huge fenced in back yard. Just a heads up for people bringing pets they do not want them on the furniture or in the beds and they are not allowed in the pool. Only a few minor things....I would recommend bringing a cheap shower caddy or something for the master bath room, there is no where to put your bar of soap and shampoo and stuff. Also the master shower was a little hard to figure out and it took forever for the water to get warm. Also in a couple of areas the rugs had a strong urine smell, but I kind of expected that with a pet friendly place. Nothing that would keep us from renting this place again!
