Massey and Evans Team

Ashley always loved vacationing on the Outer Banks with her family every summer while growing up. After earning a Business Administration Degree at Radford University in 1997, Ashley moved directly to the Outer Banks. Ashley began her real estate career as a Sales Coordinator, learning the business from the clerical side which she believes gave her a great jumpstart into real estate sales. After obtaining her NC Real Estate license, Ashley began her career as a REALTOR® during the summer of 2000. From that point forward, Ashley earned her NC Broker License, the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist), the ABR designation (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), the SFR designation (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource) and the RRS designation (Residential Resort Specialist). Over the years, she has earned numerous year-end sales awards along with agent of the month awards. Ashley has been helping buyers and sellers covering all areas of the Outer Banks for 23+ years. Much of her business comes from past clients who’ve enjoyed working with her and have placed one of their biggest assets in her hands.

In 2015, Ashley teamed up with fellow associate broker, Jessica Evans. Since then, the Massey|Evans Team has proven to be the right fit for their past and new clients alike. Their buyers and sellers have appreciated their prompt service and everyday availability. Working on a team has proven to be beneficial for Ashley in that each team member has different strengths, offering a stronger full service real estate experience for her clients.

Outside of real estate, Ashley lives on the water with her husband Mark and son Jack. She enjoys nothing more than a sunny day on the beach or on the boat. She also spends any spare time painting with oils and acrylics and upcycling furniture.

Jessica Evans grew up on the Outer Banks and attended Dare County Schools. She began her real estate career in the commercial market in South Florida in 2004, after graduating from the University of Miami in 2003 with a Bachelor's of Science in Communications. After earning her Master's Degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 2011, she entered the residential real estate market working as an executive assistant to one of the top selling agents in the posh Buckhead market of Atlanta. Missing home and the fresh salt air of the OBX, she and her husband, Charles Kramer, moved to Nags Head in 2012. In 2015, Jessica partnered up with fellow agent Ashley Massey, to better serve their growing client bases, forming the Massey|Evans team. Jessica has received several agent of the month and quarterly top producer awards. Selling real estate in both the primary and investment markets has given her invaluable experience in all aspects of the real estate transaction. In 2017, Jessica was nominated to Food for Thought’s Board of Directors, a local non-profit that provides weekend meals to Dare County School children. She also currently serves on the planning committee for The Lost Colony Wine & Culinary Festival.
