Comfy, cozy accommodations for 2. Nice place for hanging out and relaxing. There is a small selection of books, cards and games, and a smart TV in the living room.

Pictures Looked Great But Were Deceiving
Be prepared, this little house looked adorable but whoever cleans it needs to be taught how to clean or be fired. The air filter in the AC unit looked as if it had never been cleaned; the dryer had 2 wet, moldy-smelling rugs in it; the lint trap in the dryer was so full it looked like it could start a fire; the blanket provided was NOT washed (questionable stains and was very smelly); the bed spread was not washed, had stains on it as well and smelled BAD; some dishes in the cabinet had not been washed; there was no dustpan provided to clean up sand; there are mice in there - their droppings are in the cabinets; the couch has never been cleaned; the kitchen sink constantly drips; the bedroom gets unbelievably hot and you can't put the AC unit under 72. Oh, and beware of the shower drain - it's open to underneath the house so mosquitoes come inside. It was nice being able to walk right to the beach but that was just about the only nice part. You can't sit on the chair on the porch - it's broken. Overall, the house was a big disappointment and we will not be staying here again.

I have spoken with our operations manager about the issues you encountered and we will be working to remedy the situation. As I mentioned on the phone, please feel free to reach out while you are in house should you ever encounter anything that you feel needs to be fixed. We are here to make sure your vacation is all that you hoped it could be. While we can't always fix everything we do want to make sure you are comfortable while staying with us. The owners of this house recently purchased it and are planning on renovations this off season and we can't wait to see the finished project! We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back next time you are in the area.

Just what we needed for our long weekend! It's been approximately 12 + years since staying at the Outer Banks! The house was clean and met our needs! Would suggest adding a Keurig and a toilet paper holder in half bath. Appeared to be recent renovations. Truly enjoyed our stay and easy access to beach.

Great location just steps from the beach! No shoes required as you literally step outside into the sand and over to the beach . We had a very relaxing stay. The only suggestion I would add is that the kitchen is not very well equipped if you are someone who likes to cook a lot on vacation. (Limited pots/pans etc) basics were there but no toaster and fridge is unconventional. Certainly not enough of an issue to hinder our stay but other places we have rented were more stocked. There is a gas grill though which was great !

We had an excellent experience with Costal Carolina Vacations as a host and definitely plan to rent from them again in the future. Very responsive and helpful. The property was as described—it’s not fancy, but the location can’t be beat and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway.
