Catch a glimpse of the ocean from the top-level sun deck while you are enjoying your morning coffee and making your plans for the day's adventures.  Located next to the Curlew Beach access, there will be no shortage of sun, sand, and surf on this OBX vacation. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up everyone's favorite meals and the open floor plan between the kitchen, dining, and living areas offers the perfect setting to catch up and wind down after your amazing day on the OBX. Everyone will love the indoor and outdoor entertainment, with the game room with a game table, TV, and refrigerator for snacks or head outside and take on a game of volleyball or horseshoes. 


With five bedrooms everyone will be sure to find the perfect place to end their day for a restful night. The elevator makes it easy to bring in groceries and luggage and has access to all levels. Your dog deserves an OBX vacation too so bring them along as Calm On Down is pet friendly. 


Exploring Nags Head: Located between the highways, Calm On Down lets you take advantage of the Nags Head Fishing Pier, local dining, shopping at unique shops, and visiting the historical sites on the Outer Banks.


Beach Access: Head south out of the driveway until you reach Curlew Street. Head east and cross Virginia Dare Trail safely at the pedestrian crosswalk. Curlew Street Beach Access has paved parking, portable bathrooms, outdoor showers and a wooden walkway.

Clean, decent size bedrooms, the pool, elevator and jacuzzi were a nice amenity to have. Very responsive to the any questions we had before, during and after our stay.

Beautiful home! Nothing has been overlooked in this home, from the well stocked kitchen to the pool and yard toys. Very comfortable beds well furnished with plenty of seating for everyone. Grandkids, (and adults) enjoyed the game room also. Can’t forget to mention the coastal Carolina staff! Every department was a pleasure to deal with! Thankyou for a great week!

AWESOME VACATION PLACE
Stayed with our 5 grandchildren; lots of room for everyone to have their own space but the home also provided a great gathering area in the open floor plan and back yard. Plenty of room for our 2 fur-babies to play & hangout as well. The elevator was a HUGE help with groceies & luggage. Would love to see the entire backyard fenced in; would provide more family gathering area along with the dogs. Overall, would recommend this place for a wonderful & funfilled time.

Beautiful House!
Calm on down is a great house! This was my second year in a row staying there. The house is very comfortable. The location to the beach is fantastic! My 3 grandchildren loved the short walk! The game room was also lots of fun for them! We also brought along our dog who loved the elevator! Having the elevator was great for bringing in luggage and groceries! I heartily recommend this house you will love it!!

Lovely, clean beach home!
First time staying at a Coastal Carolina home and man did we pick a winner! Lovely, clean and quiet beach home. This home has it all...creature comforts galore - nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture inside and outside, and really clean and nicely, thoughtfully appointed decor. We brought our little furry kiddo and he was right at home with us. Love the proximity to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. We'll definitely be back... already reserved for 2024. Coastal Carolina was a pleasure to work with... thank you! And thanks to the owners for sharing your lovely home with us!!!

Calm down
This house was perfect , it was everything we were hoping for and more . The location was perfect only one block from beach with a great path right next to us Everything that was mentioned to be at the house was there plus The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook. we were able to ride our bikes to most of the stores as the house was located in a great spot. There was an elevator in the house which believe it or not came in very handy to get up to the different levels. I give this location and house a 10/10
