The beach is just a short walk down your private walkway where you can spend the day swimming, surfing, basking in the sun, or just listening to the ocean waves. Plenty of space to gather for meals, dining, and movie time for everyone in the great room where you can enjoy the ocean views and family time together. With 5 bedrooms and a bonus room with two queen beds, everyone is sure to find the perfect spot for a restful night.

Exploring Nags Head: Don't miss out on the opportunity to have a much-needed relaxing vacation and where the ocean is your backyard. You are close to many of the wonderful local restaurants, unique shops, fishing piers, lighthouses, and so many more attractions, or take advantage of the 11-mile biking/walking/running path in Nags Head.

The house does need a new toaster, preferably a six slice one. The current one has no lever and you can't read the settings, they've been worn off. Also, would really like to see a luggage elevator. Neither keeps us from coming back.

We'll replace it with a six-slice model so future guests don’t have that issue. We understand the convenience a luggage elevator would provide; while that isn’t feasible for this property, we’ll look into adding a luggage cart or other options to make arrivals easier. Absolutely love this rental. Have been coming to the OBX twice a year for a long time and this my favorite rental so far. It is well stocked and very comfortable. It has great views and easy access to the beach. I have already rebooked it.

Renting OBX beach houses every summer for over 40 years, we were lead to the BEST yet three years ago. Our family of ten feel so comfortably at home in Gilliam Hall. This lovely home is reminiscent of past times with its tasteful furnishings, beautiful art, spacious, yet cozy kitchen and living area. The bedrooms, including a “dormitory” room are roomy and pleasant. The proximity to the ocean is a super plus, along with the wonderful porches and decking access to the beach. We are planning our 2025 vacation in this very same place…Gilliam Hall. Coastal Carolina Vacations is such a friendly and personal customer pleasing company. Their service is always “with a smile”. Best in the OBX!

Fabulous stay!!
Our family has been coming down to the OBX for 30 years, and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in! Everything was perfect!! We had everything we could ever need!! Beautiful view of the ocean,very clean and cozy home!! It was decorated so beautifully, and Coastal Carolina Realty was on point and a class act to help us with everything we needed for a great vacation on the Outer Banks!! We will definitely rent this amazing home again!!!

Rustic style cottage with plenty of room
The house was comfortable with plenty of room for all. It has a nice view of the ocean from the first floor deck and even living room. The air conditioning works great which is often a weakness in many rentals. Centrally located in Nags Head with a shopping plaza, grocery store and restaurants close by. Anywhere in Nags Head, KDH, Kitty Hawk or Manteo are just a short drive away. The walkway over the top of the dune gives easy access to beach.

Lovely home
Gilliam Hall is such a lovely and welcoming home…. like a step back in kinder times. There is plenty of living space and there are great bedrooms. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. One of our favorite spaces was the bonus room which the girls enjoyed. Our family felt Southern Hospitality as soon as we entered this wonderful home!
