Overall enjoyed the house but the bathrooms definitely need updating. The pool is nice but the entry is problematical as the steps in the pool are very slippery and we actually had a bad slip and fall. This needs to be addressed!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate your group talking with us regarding the steps in the pool. As mentioned, after having two different people evaluate the pool steps, they are as they should be and not in need of any sort of "repair or resurfacing". We are all truly sorry someone slipped as we don't want that for anyone, especially while on vacation. We look forward to having you back in the future!

Easy access to the beach
The house was very spacious, comfortable and met our needs. It was very close to the walkway to the beach which was so convenient. The only negative was that a few of the appliances need to be replaced. The blender is actually a food processor which doesn’t make frozen drinks very well. The handle on the microwave has outlived its prior repair and is ready to fall off completely. Overall, it was great and the realty company was top notch.

Thank you for your reveiw! We will be going out on the turnover to make sure there is a blender at the property and we will be also assessing the microwave handle to get that fixed. We are so happy you enjoyed "Sunshine in my Pocket" we think it is a lovely house as well. We look forward to hosting your next Outer Banks vacation

June vacation
We had a great trip to nags head! The house was clean and very close to the beach which is what we were looking for. Also walking distance to close shops and ice cream and a close drive to the grocery store, restaurants, entertainment & more. We did not pack pool floats or beach chairs as they have always been provided in other houses but we’re not at this house. Just a heads up for anyone renting this house to bring some pool floats and beach chairs/toys. I would recommend the home have some of that for renter use as well as the combo code for the pool heater. The pool was pretty cold the first couple days. Otherwise good and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Pool heat is not provided during the summer season as it is not generally needed, however, for an additional fee to cover the operational cost of the heater, it can be turned on.
