SV30 Piggy's Paradise

The host was welcoming. The house was lovely, well appointed and comfortable. Location was excellent. There were a few items that need attention However , there is not enough flatware to service a house of this size. The dishwasher is not operating well. The dishes are not clean and there is no Drying element. They are soaking wet when you open it up after an overnight wash. Where as the kitchen has good cooking items they are not organized. It’s unfortunate because there’s a lot of cabinet space and if the items were put with like things together, they would be so much more accessible and would creating a much easier flow when you have to go into the kitchen to cook. There were numerous lightbulbs burnt out and no replacements. These are minor things and can be rectified very easily and inexpensively and would make our stay much more seamless. These things certainly would not keep us from renting Peggy‘s paradise again.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad the home was welcoming, comfortable, and in a great location. We appreciate the specific feedback — we’ve passed it to our maintenance and housekeeping teams. We’ll have the dishwasher inspected and repaired (and address the drying issue), and replace the burned-out bulbs. While the kitchens are organized at the beginning of the season, as you can imagine, over the course of the reservations, the kitchens items are not in the same spot week over week. We will also looking to the kitchen inventory this winter as well. These are helpful, easily fixed items and we’re glad they won’t keep you from returning. The house was very nice and well equipped. The pool table and hot tub were used frequently and having a 2 - 3 minute walk to the beach was fantastic. The house is well located. Except for driving down to Coquina Beach and Manteo, most everything we needed was within a 5-15 minute drive from the house. We had a great time.

We rented Piggy's Paradise for our annual two week fall vacation. The house was very nice. Everything was updated and provided us a wonderful place to make memories with the family. The only down side was the whole family got the stomach flu!!! Hope to come again next fall. Overall an A Plus for this family home.

Had a great time at this comfortable, well-stocked house 4 minutes by foot from the beach! Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and the ocean views from the deck upstairs. Wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend.

location was fantastic house was very comfy and well stocked-- we had everything we needed. beds very comfortable, the hot tub was fun, and the layout was great for our group of six adult friends-- of course we had room to spare.

Clean and suitably updated house in a great Nags Head neighborhood just a half block from the beach. Property management was kind and responsive. The only thing the house needs is a new grill, but they probably have one by now :)

Just a 2 minute walk from the ocean, close to many restaurants and our favorite, surfin spoon! The house was wonderfully furnished and beautiful. The only thing we wish for would have been beach towels and beach chairs to be provided but that was alright as we just went to the local dollar store!
